Motion Comic Exercise #1

Something different this week.
I've taken my panel copy comic from last month, and created a motion comic.
I used a combination of Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Audition and Premiere Pro to create this.

The Argentum Order witch hunters are a relentless organisation devoted to slaying all manners of warlock, witch and fiend. Their cutting-edge weaponry is specially designed to counter and neutralise magic.

Another piece of fantasy concept art I did for fun/practice, as if for a fantasy MMORPG.

Mononoke

Sorry it's nothing flashy... I was pretty short on time, so quickly sketched and coloured Princess Mononoke. I just watched the movie for the first time tonight, and I have to say, it's the best Studio Ghibli movie out in my opinion. Despite the occasional violent parts, I quite enjoyed it. The background art was pretty great, I have to say.

Just ink pens and copics, yup. Practice makes... improvement! It will happen! And I'll put in more effort next week... promise. OTL

Found original workings of the Samurai pic that I started it out in Adobe Ideas.  I switched to watercolour as unfortunately app came up with error msg that was not fixable then.

Red Moon Summoning

I wanted to paint something a bit darker in tone so I decided to a demon summoning. I always enjoy messing with anatomy elongating limbs and playing with proportions. So demons and monsters can be quite fun to draw sometimes. At the moment this is still very early on and i feel the painting is looking weirdly flat at the moment. I will work on getting more depth in there and will hopefully have a finished version of this for you to look at next week.
