Becoming less funny by the day

Don't worry though. I will learn to be funny some day. This is all part of the journey.

Turin & Le Muir - A Comic

A short comic about pest control.

I finished this comic.
It took me forever, and I'm still not completely happy with it,
but it's a step in the right direction.
I shall keep climbing the comic's mountain, one story at a time.

Comic - Siren Squad - Version 1

I drew this comic a few weeks ago.

I inked the characters with brush and ink, at which I am a novice.
The backgrounds and balloons were inked with marker pen.

Anyway, the ink is finished.
I still plan cleaning the pages up a bit and adding colour, but the story's all here if you want to read it.

Comic Excerpt Exercise

This week I have drawn this short comic.
 It's basically an exercise;
a test to see if I can get a scene to 'look' and 'read' correctly.

The scene is an excerpt from a longer story I want to draw eventually.

In order of fun.
Most Fun - Drawing the rough sketches in pencil,

(rough sketches have so much spontaneity and potential)

Medium Fun - Inking over with pen

(Destroying the potential of the pencils)

Least Fun - Photoshop Tinkering
(Trying to figure out how to work screen-tone)

Anyhow an enjoyable experiment that tells me what I need to work on.

(Oh yeah by the way, the small Puffer-Jacket guy is a Ghost)
